About our Breaking Free Ministry. We at Acts IV Ministries are completely convinced in the power of Jesus to free the oppressed and the bound. Isaiah 61:1-3 outlines the effect of His power. God's miracle Presence will release captives and free prisoners. A major part of Christ's ministry during His days on the earth was in the area of deliverance. Acts 10:38 says that He was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power and "He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil. "In the gospel, we find Him casting out devils as a normal part of His day. One of the signs He said that would follow those who believe was the casting was the casting out of devils. (Mark 16:17) Jesus Christ has all authority in heaven and in earth and has power over all the power of the enemy! He sends His people today to release the oppresses and afflicted just like He did then. (see Matthew 28:18; Luke 10:19; John 20;21) If you are feeling oppressed, imprisoned and trapped...be of good cheer! There is a Deliverer who loves you very much and He desires to break every chain that binds. Answers to frequently asked questions: How do I know if I need deliverance? If you have struggled unsuccessfully for victory over rejection, anger depression, fear, lust, pornography, addictions, etc. then you need to attend this seminar. I am a Christian; how can demonic activity be in my life? At salvation we are born again with a new spirit. Our "soul" man (mind, will, memory and emotions) is typically unaffected. This is the part that God wants to make whole through sanctification and deliverance. Can't God just set me free through prayer, bible study and other spiritual disciplines? This ministry is bases upon doing what Jesus did (and what he commanded his followers to do) which is setting the captives free through deliverance. How does this differ from counseling? Biblical counseling can be beneficial; however, we have seen God do in one seminar what years of counseling have been unable to correct. Once a person is set free from strongholds, they can receive and act upon biblical counsel.
